This course explains and illustrates all the necessary steps that are needed to plan and manage startups and shutdowns in a process plant environment, which is increasingly becoming a complex and demanding task. Improper planning, managing and controlling of plant shutdowns and startups will lead to unpredictable risks and costly delays. On the other hand, proper scheduled and executed shutdowns will result in a better proactive or emergency maintenance.
The course is designed for plants engineers, technicians, maintenance engineers, technicians, system engineers, and operators in the power generation, oil, chemical, paper and other processing industries involved in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting or repair.
