This 5-day course provides a practical approach to emergency preparedness and response for drone-related incidents affecting industrial facilities and critical infrastructure. It covers drone-related hazards, risk assessment, detection, initial response, emergency communication, security, HSE, fire and hazardous-material considerations, critical asset protection, crisis management, and business continuity.
Participants will learn how to integrate drone-related scenarios into existing emergency plans, coordinate between security, HSE, operations, and emergency response teams, and apply safe response and recovery measures through tabletop exercises and realistic emergency scenarios.
Strengthen organizational preparedness for emerging drone-related risks.
Improve identification and assessment of unauthorized or accidental drone activity.
Enhance coordination between security, HSE, operations, and emergency response teams.
Prepare personnel for drone incidents affecting critical facilities and essential operations.
Understand how drone incidents can interact with fire, hazardous materials, security, and operational emergencies.
Practice emergency decision-making through realistic tabletop exercises and scenarios.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Understand drone-related emergency risks and their potential impact on personnel, assets, and operations.
Identify and assess safety, security, HSE, operational, and environmental hazards associated with drone incidents.
Develop effective detection, notification, escalation, and emergency response procedures.
Integrate drone-related incidents into emergency preparedness, crisis management, and business continuity plans.
Coordinate effectively between security, HSE, operations, emergency response, and management teams.
Evaluate response performance, conduct post-incident reviews, and develop corrective actions and lessons learned.
